April Lockhart

April Lockhart is a born July 4, 1995. As a seventh-grade student she began taking guitar lessons and piano lessons. It was this that ignited her love for songwriting. When she was in seventh grade she began to take guitar and piano classes. The lessons sparked her passion in writing songs. When she was 14, April devoted much of her day singing and writing songs. In the following months, April started taking trips to NY and LA with her Dad in order for them both write songs. April was the month that she began to write about other issues in her book Take My Hand to help her friends who were dealing with disabilities, peer pressure or even suicide. Lockhart has her own fan base and is a lifestyle blogger with the popular Ilia Clean Beauty brand. Her birthplace didn't come with a left hand, and that is why she's the person she is. However, that's not the full story. Lockhart's Instagram profile doesn't conceal her handicap, but it doesn't concentrate solely on the issue. The point? The message is That we all carry many identities, we're way more diverse than we think that we're. My day-today life is not dependent on it. I lead a normal, everyday life and find my own solutions to issues. However, it's a component of me, so I believe it's important to talk about. Lockhart is a true source of motivation for self-acceptance generally and is currently on a lengthy process to attain this. She still admits having gone through a few phases regarding her appearance, feeling insecure at times to wear clothing that displayed her arms. It's her choice to wear what she likes, and is proud to share photos of herself dressed in her favorite outfits. Self-love, she says, is like a journey.
